i'm in n.w. iowa,,40 inch bucket, man thats not very big ,mines at least as wide as the back tires.i can scoop snow and the back tires are on scooped ground as for width probably 6ft,as for the hyds i know mine was a whining a little and then i see it milky and changed it,it cured that problem but i didn't have the loader on then so i can't tell ya if it was slow, and they did come 12 volt.and my lights need some attention too.what are they asking, just to give you an idea i bought mine from the local jd dealer, it was on death row so to speak, and they said it didn't run and that there was something wrong with the transmission ,they said they were going to sell it to a salvage yard for 1300. and if i wanted to give that fine with them,so i did, then he tells me he has a loader for it and we check it out and it's a nice black westendorf and they want 1750 for it. so i buy that too. so for 3050 i get a non running non moving tractor with a nice loader.anyway i go to do a little checking and it has no battery and pull the gas cap and about fell to the ground, rotten a gas anyway but it was about empty so i put 5 gals of good gas in it and pull the carb drain and runn a little thru it then crank and it won't start so check and no spark so go across the road to IH and get some points.,put em in eyeball em and crank and i don't think it rolled over once and started so hopped on and drove it a mile down the road to my friends farm where we have a shop.and it didn't like 4th or 5th it wanted to slip so get checking and some dumb a-hole added an inch to the clutch rod.so i tapped the threads on the clevis end an inch so i could get some play in the clutch and now if i stomp on the brakes in 5th it will kill the engine.so much for trans problems.so after valvecover gasket and side cover gasket and fluid change and a few other things i probably have at least 4000 in it.but it does need tires and i'm missing a piece of tin on the side and it puffs smoke when i work it hard, usually just one good puff and then shes clean.i have seen them sell around here for in the 5-7000 range though for nice ones.
