Harold, I paid $2200 a few years ago for a diesel 606. It was a bit beat up (it's the yellow one one in this sites photo's page), the generator didn't work and I had the starter rebuilt this year, but otherwise it works well. It's all about local prices and if someone around you can work on it. Check out antiquetractorsonline.com or do a google search for your area. I doubt the hobbs meter is correct, it would mean it only ran on average 77 hours per year. I like mine, but since it was only made for 5 years, some parts can be difficult to find (mostly tin and the 3point hitch). Good luck. -Bill
