I can tell you that the Genuine IH Hytran will turn milky color if its overloaded with water, the filter needs changed also, this would be the minimum I would try, might cure the problem, if it has been run in cold weather it starves the pump of any oil because the intake is low for the pump and this is where the ice forms worst, nothing thru the pump will damage it, the 2001 loader was designed for the 40" bucket, you could make a larger bucket for lighter material such as snow by adding steel to the one you have. The 460s all had 5 speed transmissions.
