Becker, Although I am at a loss to explain why, The chart that I saw on the Old OAK FARMALLS website; http://www.oldoakfarmalls.com/IHCNebTable.html shows that the gas engine Farmall 350 pulled about 1800 lbs. more than the Farmall 300. I figured that there had to be an error in the numbers somewhere since the actual test. If the actuall Max. Pull lbs. figures where copied accurately for the chart, then the Farmall 350 apparently pulls as much weight as the Farmall 400 did in its pull test. I personally don't believe the Farmall 350 had much more noticeable pull power than the Farmall 300 except maybe in 4th, 5th gear. My Farmall 300 is very heavily weighted close to 8000 lbs. and yet it still will over power the rear wheel traction in the lower gears. I know even with the extra weight, my Farmall 300 will never out pull a Farmall 400. I hope that I helped alittle, But Maybe Hugh or CNKS will know where the figures could be wrong in the chart that I was looking, For I myself am alittle confused on the figures. Thanks, Ray in Pa.
