Can anyone tell me if IH or Farmall had a serial number or special way to tell if a tractor was built for demo purposes? I know that Case and IH did a paint scheme but were they serial numbered as such? I know from talking to some older mechanics and old dealers the factory service guys would come in and dyno the machines and adjust the fuel pumps privately and put seals on them, let's just say they were running on the high end and after all these years the hp numbers get a little exaggerrated. Just curious.
