Lee: Tractor must be equiped with a remote hydraulic valve, to that you couple up a hydraulic motor which is hooked to pto shaft. The system then powers transmission through pto. The reason for tie in to clutch is clutch pedal must be depressed during operation. These tractors also have a optional clutch release bearing. The speeds for Farmall 130 (my manual) 1st - 24, 2nd - 37, 3rd - 48 and 4th - 97, these are all in feet per min. The tractor does not have much torque while using this. Big problem is you can't get a lot of torque from a hydraulic motor turning slow. Less than 100 rpm at pto shaft. I know a guy who had one for trans planting, He soon changed to utility type tractor soon as they had dual range transmissions and deep reduction.
