You CAN build a sleeve puller but you need a lathe to do it right. You need you a round "puck" big enough to catch the sleeve but small enough to miss the block. This is very tight. We have a lathe so making things like this is no big deal. If you are VERY patient with a grinder and a piece of 2"-3" flat stock you can make a puller by using a piston you pulled out. I hope you did not pound to hard on those pistons. A lot of Farmall M Blocks have been cracked from people pounding the pistons out. Good Luck
