Dan: No there isn't, and of course the very machine you are operating with this tractor hard one to turn as well. I think most later haybines were equiped with over running clutches. The 656 will either be engaged or the pto brake will be on. Most newer tractors today are equiped same as the 656, with hydraulically activated pto. It's a safety issue, some earlier IPTO's with spring loaded levers could engage while hitching. About the only PTO you can turn anymore are the two stage clutch tractors, and not many of them left.
