Use a multi-meter set on DC voltage across the battery posts with engine at a fast idle. If this still has the 6 volt system the meter should read around 7 to 8 volts with that switch set on H. If it has been converted to 12 volts the meter should read 13.5 to 14.5 volts. If you have no charge shown on the meter it could be the regulator or the generator. Hal
