We have a 36' tandem dual gooseneck, 20,000# GVW. I've learned however that most TD goosenecks will carry more than your truck can tow. I might get a smaller trailer one day but so far I like this one--just can't go into the drive-thru windows for meals. I like the large deck--great for carrying three smaller tractors or two medium sized or one elephant tractor. One day (when I get a lot of money...) I'd like to try an aluminum rig for my road trips--same GVW but instead of towing around trailer weight, you can carry more iron onboard. If you're looking for a gooseneck, don't get sucked into the sales pitch about how heavily built the trailer is--all that means is you can't carry as much iron. Our's weighs 5600#'s empty but I'd heard of other similar sized trailers weighing close to 8000#'s empty. Just a few comments--didn't mean to ramble on...
