It is a power up pressure release down system. The 2 front openings , one on each side, pressure at the same time while the third port which is behind the other has a delayed pressure output. You can make a 2 way out of them with an aftermarke6t add on that went on the fill pipe. This consisted of a Xmas tree type of affair that required you to pull the main lever and lock it back. Then you would run a smaller lever that pushed forward and backwards giving you up and down pressure. I have several of them if you want to buy one.
