Buck, Farmall didn't build factoy LPs untill the Stage II, Super Ms. The tag on yours probably ends with a X1, which denotes a gas motor. This means that yours is a "Field Conversion" in laymans terms here on the Board. Now back to your questions, First the LP carb is only good for LP, not gasoline. You will need another tank, carb,the intake will probably work, but if getting the parts anyway go ahead and get another intake too. + fuel lines, and sediment bowl also. To put back or leave alone. I like LP, Thunder, I love LP. So for me I would leave it as it is, providing it runs good, and there isn't any problems. But that is me! I also think the tank makes the ol girls look tough. Depending on where you live LP can be a novelity, for some folks have never run LP tractors. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
