been there,done that.what ever you can do to a 407 can be done to the 360 and the 360 will beat it on the dyno. the 300 and 400 series engine are not to be played with in hp. the 407 is a tough engine but the head restricts it and they do not like to rpm like the newer series does. a 407 with alot of work will turn 5000,a 300 series with a pump lines and injector change and added turbo will run well over 6000 with no internal mods. i did manage 750hp out of the 407,but then it did not hold together too good any more,3 passes was the most i could get before something broke.
