Hi, Does the tractor smoke when it does start? If it smokes a lot during the inital startup it is probably the carb. leaking fuel. If you have to choke the engine a lot to get it started the engine may be starving for fuel. I always shut the fuel off when I finish with the tractor for the day. Being gravity fed there's a lot of weight from a full fuel tank pushing against the float needle valve. Hal
