Hi Jon, Are sure you have the distrbutor timed correctly? Remove the sparkplugs ad hold your thumb over No1 cylinder near the radiator. Have someone crak the engine over slowly until you feel compression against your thumb. Stop cranking engine and look to see where your timing mark on your crankshaft damper pulley is. It should be close, crank the engine until these marks are aligned. Remove the distributor cap and see if the rotor points to No1 sparkplug. If the rotor points to No1, since the rotor turns cw the next plug wire should go to No3 plug, then No4 and No2. If the rotor is about 180 degrees off. The distrbutor has to be removed and reinstalled so the rotor points to No1 on the distributor cap. Did you replace the cam or timing gear? Hal
