Farmall Bob: If you have a local airplane mechanic, go to him and buy a quart of "sloosh compound". They use this in aircraft fuel tanks. The new stuff is even safe with the ethanol blends. Clean the tank as suggested, pour in the compd, roll the tank around, and drain back into the can. Simple, easy, and my tanks have not leaked in 10 years.
