The "Hydra-Touch" hydraulic systems using "Touch-Control" fluid came in at about the same time as the hundred series tractors (1955); these used a lighter-weight hydraulic oil than the (non-detergent) 30-weight oil which had been specified for most if not all of the earlier letter-series tractors. Today the best practice is to use CaseIH Hy-Tran oil in the "Hydra-Touch" systems. If in doubt, consult the operator's manual for the particular tractor.
