Hi Jeff, I 'll give you the different fluids that you can use the Gasoila thread sealant on. It can be use on gasoline, oils, kerosene, diesel fuels, steam, refrigerants, natural gas, butane and propane. The Gasoila has a soft-set so you can remove fittings easily. I've used permatex, but this is better. You can get a small can that contains 1/2 pint. I think I only paid 5 or 6 dollars and you can coat a lot of fittings with this small can. Good Luck, Hal
