Model H transmission oil level

Can someone tell me how to check the transmission oil level on my 1941 H? I would kindly appreciate it, since I've only had the tractor for about 6 years, hauled kids on the 4th of July all that time on unknown oil level (it's always slightly dripped from the rear seal, so I figured it still had oil), and I'm a MORON. I'm a brain surgeon, rocket scientist, Nobel laureate, and there's nothing on the planet I don't know... but I can't for the life of me figure out how the devil to check the transmission oil level on a 1941 H, and I'm standing here with the specimen in question and all its glory, nekked for the purpose... and I still can't find it! Thanks
