Yes, the front bolster had to be loosened and moved forward to get the pulley on. If I were to do it over I'd have the machine shop weld the new pulley onto the original crank pulley.

The pump is a Cross brand that is designed for the side load of a belt or chain drive. Cost was $180 for it.

On an M you would probably hang the pump out the other side, or even mount it underneath - there is more room up there, also the lower radiator hose is on the opposite side from an H.
