Kent: How are you getting on with that project. I think I would share the same concerns you have with that water pump. If the old pump had a bypass my thinking is it still needs a bypass. I think I would be going back to NAPA. My 140 has the same type of pump only a smaller version. It had a bypass and still has a bypass. I took mine to a competitor of NAPA and they sent my pump for rebuild, had it back next day. About $60. in your coins.
