Your cub is a 1948 model,per the serial # and the other boys gave you some good advice...The tractor shed, under Farmall Cub, has some info, I've answered lots of questions there. My Cub, a 1959 model was also "seized" when I acquired it, thanks to WD-40, Marvel Mystery Oil and about three months of spraying, soaking and prying, I got everything working just fine.(Oops, did I mention that I had to overhaul the engine?) Right now it is busy mowing my daughter's pastures!
