B. Rust, Check the oil after a warmup period, if it's milky looking good chance you have a blown head gasket. To check a cold engine, open the oil drain plug "very slowly" to see what comes out first. water or oil. As oil is lighter than water you should get water "first" if the head gasket is gone. My opinion is you have the misting problem over the wiring/dist. causing the rough running as it doesn't take much dampness to arc across escially with graphite filiment wiring. Good luck. FB
