Jay, As with me you have discovered the key to old tractor ownership! As DD said. I have a Oliver OC-46 a toy for me I though (it's a small crawler with a front bucket and back hoe) man I just knew I could fix up my place quick but the carb drove me CRAZY, then the ing, electril then of all things the tracks and drive spockets and front sprocket and hyd cylinders started leaking! But the first thing I did was get a book on the OC-46 and it was a life saver so here I am three years later having fun useing it. Like the guys said I have noticed that when I'm just setting with a cold one looking at my tractors I am able to figure out how to do it the right way. Of course the next beer is even better. I now have three more tractors Im working on a Allis WC,WD and a Farmall M and am buying a Farmall Cub.
