Now that we know it's a Super C - Oli Seal?

Hello,

My friend replaced the oil filter on his Super C
and then it started leaking oil. He said he wondered if there was supposed to be a seal
there. He did not see one. Can someone help
us here? If there is a seal, does anyone have
the part #. It's a 1951 Super C.
