Although all this stuff is nice to have it is not required. They do make brush hogs that mount to your drawbar. They are not as convenient, but it would save a lot of money. The super C does a nice job of brush hogging with a 5' hog as long as the grass is not too thick and you’re not trying to mow with it too low. Yes if you want to stop on a dime you'll need what Haas mentioned. But if you don't mind waiting for the PTO to stop before you stop again you'll save money. Or you could just turn the PTO off to stop fast but then you'll have to wait for the blades to stop before you can put it back in gear. The SC will do a nice job with a woods finishing mower. As long as you don't have a lot of low hanging trees to go under this should be a great tractor for what you need. Best of luck to you.
