I was going to reply earlier. I do not see any advantage to converting to a paper filter. If you still want to do this you need to take the oil bath cleaner apart. Don't throw any thing away, you will probably change your mind. Remove the wire mesh (circular shaped wire pads) stuffed up inside the filter. Go to a motor cycle shop and see if one of their filters will fit snugly around the air inlet and still leave lots of room around the side. I wouldn't do it. A pint of 30 wt. oil is much cheaper than a paper air filter.
