One of the stupider ideas the congress-critters has come up with is daylight "saving" time. How do you "save" daylight?? It's not like you can put it in a safe place and use it when you need it. Standard time worked for a couple of hundred years, leave it that way. I was listening to a radio station a few years ago and the announcer asked why we have daylight savings time. His answer, which makes perfect sense to me, was it's so Kmart can sell more barbeque grills.
