Hi Doug, back in late 50's we had 300U and neighbor had MF35D which is mother of MF135.

The 300U would out pull and out power the MF35 on the PTO.
The 300U had one downfall. It was a gas-aholic and would never pass a gas tank without wanting a drink. The MF35D was very easy on fuel and the Perkins Diesel was excellent but not as good as the German built IH Diesels in the 454,484,574,584,674,684 series tractors.

Just be careful with the MF135 as it is very light on the front end and will stand on end with heavy weight on 3 pt.
