A Super M and 400 are two different tractors of the Farmall line as the 400 replaced the Super M. It sounds like you have found a wide front end (WFE) in the "Two wheels and axle". There were original equipment as well as after market WFE's available for both the Super M and the 400. The one you found may or may not bolt up to your tractor as they made different sizes for different tractors. Take good measurements before you head for the sale. You make have to clean out the holes in the bottom of your upper bolster on the tractor to get the measurements.
