Just reassembled a 1949 Farmall C and am having trouble with the clutch. When I depress the clutch it sometimes will not disengage. I have adjusted the linkage in both directions, but it does not help. Other times while disengaged, it then will re-engage without moving the clutch pedal. This is dangerous. It also will make a slight grinding noise when enganging and disengaging. There is no noise and no slippage when fully engaged. I replaced the clutch plate and pressure plate when it was apart. Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm afraid that I'll have to split the tractor again. Thanks.
