The number 360486-R2 is a part number. I believe that the serial number tag is on the clutch housing on the left side of the tractor. At least that is where it is for the H's and M's. The 300 is the new and improved version of the H. You may find a date code on some of the castings. A 6*14*B would be June 14, 1956. If a part has ever been replaced on the tractor then the cast date on that part will not match the date of the tractor. Just something else you can look at.
