Paint pens in various forms have been around for years. They are a felt tipped device that I use quite frequently, especially if I want a mark that is more permanent than marker pens, or is more visible on dark iron. Kinda sensitive on rough surfaces. Also work great for highlighting raised casting lettering. Automotive paint sometimes comes in this form. Have purchased old stock color pens at flea markets for 50 cents each and work fine. Dry time on all is only a minute or so in good drying weather.
