Guy, Thank you for the information. Just to recap, the only items not painted would include the steering wheel covering, glass fuel bowl, seat covering, distributor cap, spark plug wires, light lenses, gauge lenses and regulator. I assume the serial number tag is not painted. Correct? Was the tag on the starter also left unpainted? I have seen it both ways. I'll do more research on the hydraulic coupler. Otherwise, all hydraulic hoses, radiator hoses, electrical wires, sheet metal, castings, starter, etc. would have been painted at the IH factory. Great job on your book. It has been very helpful. David
