I think it's an OK idea but I'm not real keen on having to pump in a password each post or reply. If I don't frequent here anymore does my handle remain locked for no one else to use forever? I just use my last name whenever I post here and many people have that last name or use it as first name so I don't think they should not be able to use it or that I should not be able to use it. If someone attempts to hi-jack and feign as being me (it's never happened) and put out some abrasive or offensive post (never happened)in anonymous fashion as though it were me then I would not get upset because I don't do that and it would become clear over time that it was not me. There are some others here who use my (their) handle and so how can anyone really know who is posting? So far no big deal or conflict. And if it did happen I would not care. I do recall some time ago, chad or something similar griping about someone posting as chad but it blew over. So what's the big deal. I don't know. Maybe we should all just be a bunch of numbers.
