I purchased a Farmall 340 row-crop in January. It has the TA. To use the TA, when moving, pull back on the TA lever steadily, not snapping it back, and you should notice more power/pull to the tractor. Don't use the clutch when doing this. Reverse the process to get the tractor out of TA mode. Just a steady movement of the lever it all it takes. From comment I have read and heard first hand, fast-hitch implements are hard to come by. You can get arms and top-link and use three-point implements. Is this tractor narrow (row-crop) or wide front end? I have found the row crop to be a little light in the front end. I have a two-bottom plow, model 211 - I think, for fast-hitch and would consider selling it. I live south of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Keep the Farmall board posted on your Friday plans, and good luck.
