I agree. I did some strength calculations on some of bolted joints on my B that I thought maybe I should use grade 8 bolts on, and found that the good folks at Farmall had sized the bolts big enough that grade 5 was more than adequate. The places I was considering 8's was the bolster mounting bolts and the bolts that hold the steering bos to the engine block. Finally got a chance to use my edjamakation for something. The upside to it is that grade 5 bolts are about one third to one quarter the cost of grade 8.
