Yes there is a simple procedure. If your tractor has a hand pump on the primary fuel pump you must pump this until the air is out, I don't recommend using the starter until you kow you have fuel to the injector pump, it requires fuel for lubrication. There should be a place to bleed the filters, be sure the air is all out to that point. Sometimes I also bleed the line to the injector pump. In tough cases I will loosen a few injectors (be careful not to break the fitting), then with a good battery and possibly another connected with cables, start the engine (with the throttle wide open)until it begins to fire. Then tighten all the injectors. Start the engine, be prepared to idle down as it picks up.
