Ya that would work, I got 8in long bolts, i could have went with 9in, cause a couple of the bolts, the end of the bolt is flush with the end of the nut, i would like a bit stickin out but owell. If you want to bolt one on first than i would get 10in bolts, that way you can have a nut on the first weight and on the second, I also used washers on the inside of the hub and on the outside of the weight were i put the weight on, i put lock washers on the outside to were they would fit. I dont think the tractors came from the factory with weights, they could have bin a add on at the dealer. Hope this helps.
