Just has the same problem with my 240, heres the fix. Get a new oil pump cover(aluminum and the old one will be warped) new pump cover gasket,and spring and you will set to go for another 30 years. What happens is the pump cover will get a little warp in it then the gasket will blow out, these gaskets are super thin so be careful put it back( looks like a piece of old rice paper)
