I have owned my A for over 40 years it is semi retired now but I used it regularly for over 20 years. The hot oil pressue has allways been a little less than straight up on gauge at full throttle and allmost in red at idle. A timing gear set is all the work I have ever done on engine and it still runs great. If it stays out of red at hot idle I would not be concerned.
