Early morning in Australia Arno so I'm only just reading your post. The British tractors didn't come to Australia as we had our own IH factory in Geelong Victoria. The Oz built tractors were identical to the British tractors in nearly every way, glowplugs, three bearing crank etc. Geelong factory was built in late 30's but used for war production nearly immediately and the first tractors rolled the line were built in 1947-48. Hope this is of some help. Regards, Redfan.
