Cub Serial number

I just purchaed an IH CUB. I was told that the serial number was on the steering housing, but I have found none. I did find several numbers on the left side of the engine. I think this is the serial number CUB M 16349, this was located just under the valve ajustment plate near the rear. the other numbers on the block are 251341B1 and 1-16-R. Also numbers on the frame behind the block 130R and 3516868RI. All the parts are painted red except for the grill which is white, I think this is the original paint. Thanks
