That's funny! My neighbors all seem to be at war with their grass, scalping their lawns, creating windrows, dousing it with Roundup. Me, I love to cut grass, always have. It's very satisfying to me to have a pretty lawn, something akin to a green carpet all around the house. Here on the Texas Coast, we generally get enough rain and sun to grow lush, deep lawns. I must confess that I have also cut the grass in the rain to keep up. I have been known to cut three times a week to keep up. I even cut lawns for several of the older folks in the neighborhood. But I don't mind, I just like the way it looks when I get done. Guess I'm kinda weird that way.
