Good point, and this was just an "example" tool, there are many others that are more expensive or more "specialty" that may fit the bill better. I remember a local small engine shop loaning me a Briggs & Stratton specialty tool once when I was overhauling a small engine and needed B&S tool #xxxxxx (which was made and sold only by B&S) to finish a repair, boy was I glad I didn"t shell out the $75 B&S wanted because I have never seen another engine that needed that tool since that time. On a "per use" basis, my $36 tap (including shipping) cost me $18 per use, but I don"t think I have any other tools that are that high on a "per use" basis. I am sure many other people do though, this is just my toolbox, piddly as it may be :-). And buying it sure beat the cost of 2 new manifolds, or having a plumber do it for me, or living with wobbly-pipes!
