Steve from MO is right on! I used to work in the telecommunications billing industry and your phone company will upon your explanation and insistence (and previous record of never calling a 900 number in the past) remove the charges for 900 numbers on your phone bill. They will probably require you to put a block on calling all 900 numbers at the same time. This block is normally free to put on. Personally, I have gone wireless internet which gives me up to 336k download and 112k upload. I could pay for up to 712k if I wanted. I did this for more speed (as I could only get about 21k on the phone line), to free up my phone for business calls, and to eliminate the possibility of having to deal with fraud calls like you may have had. Other than the cost, I love it!!! Good luck with your phone company, and don’t be scared to threaten to call your Public Utilities Commission and follow through if necessary to get any 900 calls you did not make off your bill.
