DDG, I have to agree with Stan, on his feelings on which way you should go. Im in the process of doing a 49 Super A over also, ever so slowly and I was getting about 110 lbs in each cylinder after I got the motor running. Im not going to touch it with that compression! The important thing is that all your cylinders are close to the same reading. I would have the head done for know as Stan suggested and go from there down the road!
