Thanks for the reply. The manual I have doesn"t show any difference between the pumps as far as one not having a scavenge pump, so your response was helpful! The rear cover on the primary pump looks good where the gears go- no scoring that I can see. The gears don"t look too bad either. I took the primary pump off and it appears all the keys and pins are in place. There"s not much end clearance on the shaft or gears with the rear cover in place, so that should be ok too. I didn"t look inside the main pump to see what things looked like in there when I had the primary off....guess that"s my next step. Needs new gaskets and a shaft seal on the primary anyway. Thanks again!
