This tractor most likly came with a distributor not a mag unless some one added it becuase they did no thave a battery or charging system that worked. The coil is contained in the mag and external on the dist. So on a distributor your wireing would come from your switch and go to the coil then from the coil to the Dist. On a mag the wire comes directly from the switch to a screw on the side of the mag . If this confuses you go to ebay and do a search for a H4 mag you will see the difference. JON
