I agree 100% with DWV,I just changed my sector gear Wednesday,and did it just like he says. Only thing I did different was I used a big brass drift instead of a piece of flat metal. I stood on a step ladder,makes swinging the sledge easier.I couldn't believe how much the teeth had worn,only 3 or 4 right in the middle of the sector but boy was they worn.It really tightened up the steering alot,it was definately worth the trouble. I was about ready to give up,but once I got a steady stance on the ladder where I could swing the sledge,things started happening then.
